Everything you need to know before adding Likethat.ink to your store — setup, compatibility, workflow, and pricing.
For WooCommerce stores, most setups are live within a few hours. Installing and activating the plugin takes minutes. Configuring products, uploading templates, and adjusting styling takes a little longer depending on how many products you're setting up.
For API or direct embed setups, timelines depend on your platform and how much customisation you need. Setup support is included with your subscription — we'll help you get live without unnecessary delay.
Not for WooCommerce. The plugin handles the technical side — install, activate, connect, and configure through the WordPress admin panel. No code required.
For custom integrations via the API or direct embed, having developer access to your site is useful. If you don't have in-house dev resource, our setup support team can guide you through or assist directly.
Yes. Setup support is included with every subscription and during your free trial. If you hit a problem getting live, get in touch and we'll help you sort it out.
Yes — there's a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card required to start. If you decide Likethat.ink isn't right for your store, the trial simply ends with no charge.
Yes. There is a dedicated WordPress and WooCommerce plugin that handles the full integration — embedding the editor, connecting order data, generating files at checkout, and passing everything back through WooCommerce order management.
Yes. Likethat.ink can be embedded on any HTML-based platform using a single script snippet. It also integrates through the Spark API for deeper, platform-specific implementations on Shopify, Magento, or bespoke storefronts.
If you're on an unusual platform or have a complex setup, get in touch and we can advise on the best approach.
The editor is browser-based and works in all modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge — on desktop and tablet. Mobile devices are supported for simpler personalisation flows, though complex design work is best suited to larger screens.
Yes. Webhooks fire events — design approved, file generated, order placed — into any endpoint you specify. This makes it straightforward to connect Likethat.ink to MIS platforms, prepress systems, fulfilment tools, or automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
The Spark API also allows direct, programmatic integration with your production stack for more complex requirements.
Yes. Customers can upload JPG, PNG, SVG, and PDF files. Uploaded artwork is placed on the design canvas and positioned correctly within the print template. Advanced image controls — crop, scale, rotate, opacity — let customers adjust their artwork without external tools.
AI tools like Enhance, Upscale, and Background Removal can then be applied to improve uploaded images before the order is placed.
Yes. Brand styling options let you apply your store's fonts, colours, and visual identity to the editor UI. For deeper customisation, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript overrides give developers full layout control — so the editor can feel completely native to your store.
The editor includes the full Google Fonts library. You can also upload custom fonts to your account — these appear in the editor and are embedded correctly in the final print-ready output file.
Yes. Dynamic page count allows customers to add or remove pages for multi-page products — booklets, programmes, brochures. Page count can also drive pricing automatically, so a 16-page booklet prices differently from an 8-page one in your WooCommerce store.
Yes. Template zones can be locked — a logo, legal text, or brand area stays fixed while customers customise the editable portions of the design. Smart tags and linked elements give you fine-grained control over what customers can and cannot change.
PDF/X-1a is the default output format — industry-standard for print, with correct colour mode, bleed, and embedded fonts. PDF/X-4 is also supported depending on your production requirements.
Files are generated at 300 DPI minimum, with configurable bleed, ICC profile selection (Fogra39 and others), and correct trim marks included.
Yes. The moment a customer approves their design and places an order, a print-ready file is generated automatically. The file is attached to the order in WooCommerce and can also be pushed to your production stack via webhook without any manual step in between.
Print quality checks run automatically and flag resolution issues before the order is placed. Customers are warned when an image is too low-resolution for the product size they've chosen.
The AI Upscale tool can then be applied to increase the image resolution without quality loss — often turning a borderline file into a print-viable one without requiring the customer to find a better source file.
Yes. In-app file downloads let customers save their approved design file directly from the editor — useful for self-service workflows, B2B accounts, and customers who want to keep a copy or place reorders later.
Yes. Webhooks fire events at key moments — design approved, file generated, order placed — into any endpoint you configure. You can connect to Zapier, Make, n8n, or any platform that accepts webhook payloads. The Spark API provides deeper programmatic access for custom implementations.
No — that's the point. Customers approve their own design in the editor using the live print preview before placing an order. The proofing step happens in-browser, before checkout, so your team doesn't need to send manual proofs or wait for approval emails.
The print-ready file is generated automatically at checkout and flows directly into your production workflow.
Yes. Variable data support lets you merge customer data — names, addresses, unique codes, images — into designs at scale. Useful for direct mail, personalised gifts, event programmes, or any product where each item in a run is unique.
Yes — 14 days, full access, no credit card required. Every feature is available during the trial so you can test the full experience on your store before committing.
Yes. Likethat.ink is month-to-month. Cancel from your account settings at any time — no notice period, no cancellation fee. If you cancel mid-month, the editor stays active until the end of your billing period.
No. £149 per month covers unlimited orders, unlimited products, and every feature — with no usage-based charges on top. Your costs don't grow as your order volume grows.
